Nature-Études Program: a PROGRAM to bring young people closer to nature

We are proud to have collaborated with the Ministry of the Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change and its partners on the Nature-Études Program, a new program for secondary schools in Quebec.

This initiative, which stems from the Nature Plan 2030, offers students in grades 7 through 9 a hands-on immersion in natural environments, allowing them to discover Quebec's biodiversity and ecosystems. Through wildlife observation, species monitoring, responsible sport fishing, and awareness-raising projects, young people develop their scientific skills and eco-citizenship, while becoming aware of the major issues related to biodiversity. Our contribution consisted of promoting nature and raising students' awareness of its protection, thereby reinforcing the educational impact of the program.

For schools, participating in the Nature-Études Program is a turnkey solution that includes:

  • Comprehensive educational planning;

  • Learning situations aligned with educational objectives;

  • Financial support for implementation;

  • Training to support teachers and technicians;

  • Access to a network of committed partners.

Since the start of the 2025 school year, five pilot schools have been testing this innovative approach and will welcome their first students in August 2026.
