Thank you for participating in the first edition of the

Major meeting of the Nature Positive Universities Alliance in Quebec .

This event is primarily aimed at Quebec universities and CEGEPs that have signed the Nature Positive Universities (NPU) commitment, or that have undertaken a biodiversity approach or are in the process of doing so. This event will allow for the sharing of good practices in terms of biodiversity protection and conservation in institutional settings.

Participating on-site in this activity will allow you to network with other higher education institutions in your situation, will offer you opportunities for collaboration, and will allow you to meet, at the end of the day, the participants of the Nature & Enterprise Summit , that is to say professionals from the biodiversity sector in Quebec.

AGENDA

Morning

  • Introduction to Positive Nature

  • Measuring its impact on biodiversity: reference level and indicators

  • Examples of institutional strategies for protecting biodiversity

  • Interactive workshop: NPU-Quebec community of practice

Afternoon

  • Sharing best practices:

    • Greening, habitat creation, conservation and renaturalization

    • Ecological connectivity and connection with nature

    • Projects for and by First Peoples

Early evening

  • Networking activity with the Nature & Business Summit

  • Short panel “Looking to the future: the role of education and youth”

$95 + taxes

 

Your ticket includes coffee, lunch, and access to the networking activity and end-of-day panel (incl. two beverages and appetizers)

 

Limited access: only 60 places on site!
