COP17 in Yerevan, Armenia of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) - 2026

We will be taking part in the 17th Conference of the Parties (COP17) to the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD), to be held in Yerevan, Armenia, in 2026. This global conference will bring together governments, civil society organizations, indigenous peoples, businesses, researchers and other key players committed to biodiversity.

COP17 is an important milestone in the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework, adopted in 2022. It will provide an opportunity to take stock of progress, reinforce commitments and foster greater coordination between countries and sectors.

We believe that these events are essential to support the implementation of transformative changes that are equal to the challenges. As committed players in the field, we will be there to contribute to discussions, share our experience and continue to promote the integration of biodiversity into all spheres of decision-making.

Our participation is aimed at bringing the voice of those who, on a daily basis, work to understand, value and protect biodiversity. We wish to contribute to this international dialogue by sharing our tools, our experiences and our vision of systemic, sustainable and collaborative integration. This conference will also enable us to enrich our approaches and partnerships, in order to better support organizations and communities in Quebec.
