The Dialogues for Biodiversity are open meetings that aim to mobilize civil society around the protection of life.
These events provide an opportunity to address biodiversity issues from an intersectoral perspective, taking into account their close links with climate, health, and social dimensions. Given the scale of the ecological crisis, collective action is essential, recognizing the complexity of the challenges and the interdependencies between different sectors of society.
As part of a dynamic of transformative change, the Dialogues encourage structural evolutions of our systems and our relationship with nature. Inspired by the scientific assessments of the IPBES, these changes aim to build more just, resilient societies that respect ecological limits.
Rooted in the international context, the Dialogues closely monitor developments in biodiversity negotiations, particularly the Conferences of the Parties (COP). They provide a space for exchange, reflection, and collaboration to advance the protection of life at all levels—from local to global.
